Back for a visit at the shop, Kauni is a favourite of ours for shawls, scarves and colourwork. Spun in Estonia from 100% Gotland wool, Kauni has the grip and woolen-spun lightness prized by Nordic knitters, and its colour-shifting stripes show off stranded motifs beautifully, whether used with a solid or worked in combination with the same or another colourway. Please note that Kauni ball weights vary, from 140 to 170 grams, with yardage of 400 metres per 100 grams. We will fill your order with the largest ball of the colourway ordered that we have in stock.
